I received a call this lunchtime that I would be receiving my recent order from Oakhouse Foods next Saturday, which would make it a genuine call as I am expecting such a delivery. However, as I had received it as a message on the answerphone I tried to ring back to thank them for the message by using 1471, This number was given by 1471 but when I tried it even after double checking it, the number was stated to be unobtainable, leading me to check on your site. Allegedly about washing machine warranty - SCAM!

Claimed to be from Domestic and General as above. Appears to be a scam?

Call claimed to come from Domestic and General wanting us to extend our washing machine insurance policy to cover other domestic products and reluctant to leave the line when said not interested. Almost identical to a call made from 07835 838 552 on 29th August 2025 aand on earlier occasions in 2023. I consider them all to be scam calls.

Gibberish!
