Scammer trying to scare you

They have been bothering me consistently for weeks, declaring my sim card is converting, initially very believable! - when confronted if they were a scam, operator became very flustered. I hung up, they text me saying just "no", then tried contacting me again. Number blocked.

Telling me my Sim going to be blocked if I don’t pay ex-amount. He will make himself sound legit and state they are calling from EE and read your number out to you. Don’t buy into it. You can tell the difference from an EE number and other numbers by looking at the start of the number. Just put the phone down and block them. If you are concerned, phone your provider yourself.

Called up my partner insisting the sim is going to get blocked in a couple days if he doesn’t pay a certain amount … baring in mind my partners phone is a contract in my name so I pay the phone bill so they would have no need to call him

Called and said they were going to give me a 25% discount on my O2/Virgin account. I said I wasn't with O2 or Virgin and she asked me who I was with and how much I was paying which I declined to answer. 99% sure it was a scam but I'm not absolutely certain. I've blocked the number anyway.

Twice in the same minute- no voicemail.
