020 3837 8482 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Called today 2pm woman asked for someone, not me. Declined to state who she was calling on behalf of, citing the Data Protection Act! Told not to call again, so number blocked.

I called the number back and the recorded message said that it was from Listen on behalf of "a charity". It gave a number to ring to have your number removed from their list within one working day so I have done that and we will see what happens.

just received a call (on a sunday at half 4) don't know if it's because i signed a petition on change.org,or because i donated once to 38degrees... non stop harassment from charities after donating once has put me off ever donating again...

Constant calls from this number to my mobile over the past few days yet never given the chance to answer as they cut off quickly! No charities donated to recently, no petitions signed recently and it is a new mobile number they are calling, so no idea where they have obtained my number from!

I have received ten missed calls from this numbers so far this week. I do not know why they are calling as they do not leave a message. I have not recently donated to charity, so I do not know where/who they got my number from.

These call centres are paid by charities to drum up financial support, they put too much pressure on people & some low waged & elderly end up agreeing to amounts they cant afford just to get off the phone, if you can afford to give to a charity then its always best to pay direct rather than through a third party who will get a share of the money you donate, i would advise anyone to just hang up on anyone who cold calls asking for money.

It's Greenpeace calling after we signed a petition online. They call all hours. Really annoying. Because they're calling for someone else in the house who is rarely in during the day I haven't felt able to tell them to go away. Think I will next time after reading other people's comments on here.

I donated to help the aged and started getting these. Asked to be removed from the list and they are still calling me. On a Sunday. Last time I will ever donate via text

I have had 2 calls in the last 2 days from this number to my mobile phone. I didn't answer the calls because they terminated the call before I could answer, so wasn't aware that this was a fund raising organisation until I Googled the number. It seems too much of a coincidence that these have started very soon after I donated by Text to 70800: an Ebola (Medicine Sans Frontier) and a Pure Water fund (can't recall the organisation now - they were both on TV this week). Very naughty of the fund raising organisation to make use of the senders phone numbers to start annoying those who donate to the charities. Such a shame that some charities use organisations that do not respect your privacy.

Got a call around 6:30pm on 22nd October 2014

This is a charity number, they called me looking for more money after I made a donation to the Anthony Nolan Foundation via text, obviously some charities are passing your number on, puts me off donating in future.

Friends of the earth linked to change.org petition. Wanted money but declined as I don't do anything solicited on the phone
