Caller knew my name and started talking about a car finance claim. But he had my name, how that?
call marked as spam by my phone, no voicemail left
Call got screened by my iPhone, didn't leave a messaged. Keep getting calls from nearby London numbers every two weeks, same outcome.
He knew my name and address and said i was entitled to car finance and compensation for my miss sold diesel car. When i said i did not drive, and had been disabled for 40 years, and not been able to walk due to having no legs he just hung up.
This is a phone I don't use, I have not given out the number. Caller let it ring four times and cleared down.
Said she was from a Personal Contract Purchase Reclaim Centre - it took me about 6 attempts to understand what she was saying. Was trying to get personal information from me although she did already have my name. It turns out it is car finance reclaim thing.
No reply when I answered. Probably scam or telemarketing. Waste of time so I blocked the number.
Can I speak to David…. Foreign call centre scamming, they use a different 020 number every time ! Once or twice a week!!
Call from this number allegedly the "PCP reclaims centre". I've never had a PCP deal in my life. Spam call, number now blocked.
Asked to speak to a friend who no longer lives in the UK. When I said they couldn't they hung up.
Call cut off after 4 rings, probably because call would be diverted to voicemail
