Rang me didn't speak at other end, then put the phone down on me and immediatley got a call after from 0161 9624999 ppi company from Manchester who hung up as soon as I requested to speak to the manager.
Scam.... They get your details from job hunting websites. They register as an employer and get your CV. They then have all your CV information and try to get additional details from you to add to their record, they'll start out with simple questions you don't mind answering building confidence and move on to more personal questions which they can try to use for things like online logins etc..... Age old scam, love having fun with them. You can really take the piss, they phone me once ina while and i'll pretend to be a chinese man with little english making them speak slowly for ages before laughing and telling them to get lost. They phone back a few weeks later and i'll pretend to be someone else. Think of a story and have fun with them, they get told they have to stay on the line, so you can go on for ages or hang up whenever you want.
