Not sure about the racist leaning comments here. The accent should not determine whether it is a scam or not. However, it is a scam.
Definitely a scam. Indian woman with a thick accent. Said she was calling from Vodafone about updating my SIM card. I’m not on Vodafone. She then asked me which network provider I’m with, to which I replied “surely you should know if you’re making this call” and hung up. Blocked the number.
Strong Asian accent I struggled to understand. Claimed to by my network provider but could not tell me the name of the company. I ended call and blocked the number
Didn't answer the call and they didn't leave a message. Now blocked after seeing the reports on here.
Absolute SCAM! Could barely understand this heavily accented woman, but I asked why they keep calling me from different numbers as I DON'T have an account with O2. She got quite aggressive, (I think anyway, as I couldn't make out everything she was saying) and appeared to be insisting that I DO have an O2 account. (I really don't!!) She tried to talk over me so I very firmly and loudly told her to "STOP CALLING ME". I then hung up and blocked the number! Do these people having nothing better to do???
Heavily Asian accented woman said she was from 02 and needed to send new SIM card as mine would stop- sent me codes to give her but I looked the number up first and saw negative things here so left her on mute- she hung up and called back again so now blocked
Heavily accented woman difficult to understand talking a sin card obviously a scam out the phone down on her .
Barely intelligible south Asian female, calling to talk about my phone account. Clearly fraudulent. Called back when I cut her off 😂
Indian woman called to say that from O2 and getting a new SIM card for my phone as 02 updating network. Got a message from O2 saying if I asked for the code. When I started to ask questions she played the victim saying why you doing this to me LOL. Scam
