Exact same situation from me. I used to live in Wigan, but there's no reason for any landlines there to contact me anymore, and my phone displays it as Scam/Fraud as well.
Repeat calls to rebook cancelled and overdue Boots opticians eye test. Genuine, but unwanted.

Been called on 4 seperate occations by this number. I originally considered picking up the first time, as 01942 is the area code for where I used to live, but decided against it. Number is now labelled as 'Suspected Scam' and has called me 3 more times over the past week.
This number rang twice so far with a couple of days inbetween with screen showing 'suspected scam' so didn't answer on both occasions.
