01903 703421 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

several letters received to our head office NOT the actual supply address all with deferent dates a week or so apart, different account numbers and all stating differing amounts owed. We are a small charity and have never been with these and checking the number its 2 digits different to the one on the smartest energy website. Its a scam, it has to be but beware. DO NOT send any money.

I got a letter from them claiming I owed £4175 for a business account, which I never had ,letter was sent to my home address had my full name but wrong house number. Told me I could set up direct debit by going online or by calling this number 01903703421. Yeah no thanks clearly a scam.

I received a letter addressed to my mother-in-law at my home address (?). She passed away 5+years ago.... They were requesting payment of an outstanding gas bill for £1,623!!! Prior to her passing, apart from the fact her last apartment had no gas, she had never, to our knowledge, ever had an account with this 'company'. I rang and advised them of the 'actual details', and they were vague, to say the least... Looking at the real Smartest Energy company website their tel. no. and registered address are - surprise-surprise, different to that stated in the letter I received. Beware, this would seem to be a clever scam and not genuine.

Similar to below. letter claiming to be from company but no account number or details. Got through to a number and african lady who could barely speak English. Threatens legal action but will ignore it

Had a letter through to our business address saying we owed money and to pay by bank transfer (details on letter) or call this number. They are not one of our suppliers. I called the number and was on hold for 30 minutes before hanging up. The letter threatens further action but I am ignoring it.

sent me a text saying a dd had failed. text header showed 'smartest'. pretty dumb as i dont do businss with them. number blocked and reported.

e-Mail with invoice attached asks to call this number. Company says it is Smartest Energy Business, which is similar to a real company, but the phone number is slightly different. Best scam I've seen so far. BEWARE.
