I have found a great way to stop this from happening and it’s this! When you get another call from this number, they claim you have an accident within the last two years! Simply say yes I had an accident back in 1989 when I fell down an escalator can I claim for that! They will put phone down and not call back, I did this twice and as yet never received a call about accident claims lol
They get your name, address and telephone number from the Electoral Register (public register)
So why you answering? If you suspect something after the second time, block the number.
Government must not fine the company, but the named directors personally. Fine a company of this type it just shuts down and starts with its next name.
I tend to say yes then go on to explain it was while i was in the bat mobile and superman caused the accident.
Someone her said that DVLA don't give out info, of course they do that;s how these rogue parking fine companies get our addresses
I have had a couple of calls from this shower from Liverpool. The agent called Georgina said they were ringing on behalf of the DVLA and the MIB. I have reported the company who are actually a outbound marketing company ringing anyone and everybody saying that someone in your household has has had an accident. Total tripe and I lost my temper eventually after she kept lying about where she had got my mobile number from. Did some research on the company and the MD Ricky Hornby and it seems as though he could be behind one of the outbound call centre operations who's company is called First Call Claims ltd.
Get about 5 calls a week of this number , sometimes 3 times a day , never answered , however it says Tunbridge Wells under the number which could be the location , not too sure
Just got called from this number and a "woman" I use the word "woman" loosely in this case told me I'm pathetic for not giving up information to her.
They have called me previously and has been a automated voice recognition system, don't answer
3 times in one hour. It rings for about 5 seconds then stops. Apparently this site says they are claiming to be car accident investigators chasing payouts.
Received call on my mobile 22.3.16 - caller had my name. Claimed to be from a company that worked with the DVLA and linked to the Motor Vehicle Insurance Bureau. Said that his records showed that I had had an accident in the previous two and a half years (bunkum). Told him his records were wrong - he immediately rang off (before I had a chance to tell him what I thought about him and his ilk.)
I think they've just started using 01892 704151. Off to block it now. Thank goodness for these websites where you can check and block.
