Definite scammers cancel your card and request a new one before they charge you the refundable £40 surcharge (I'm no daft straight on the phone after giving my details,a wee Indian guy randomly appeared on the little man's birthday phone straight away after installing WhatsApp to speak to his nana so I'm guessing this is how they're fishing) Hopefully they still send the iPad or whatever and scam themselves lol

Just googled the callback number Whistleblower 🇬🇧 @PeteJacksonGMP WATCH OUT for mobile phone upgrade scams, now getting very sophisticated. Embarrassed to say very nearly fell for it 😳from initial contact to follow up texts, emails & offer of good value (but not suspiciously good) upgrade, all very convincing and realistic company literature. In my case Three. The sales call is followed by a call from the 'delivery team' 02038856226 (London) who then discuss delivery dates & then actually send a phone that is wrong phone (in my case sent an iphone 15 not phone I'd ordered) with all Three bumf, sims etc, & so amidst many apologies they ask you to return it & send email with barcode to take to post office to scan & then they get you to return it with promise of compensatory gift. Now that they have your full confidence then comes the call following days where they send you a text/email to click to confirm your email & then ask you to go into your banking app to confirm a delivery payment for your actual phone. Brand new Tesco mobile non contract phone, got call from them Indian fellow on phone claiming to be Tesco and asking how much I top up a month, told them Vodafone give me unlimited everything for £15 so they offered unlimited calls text data for £10 and then asked me to choose a colour of a free iPad, asking security questions such as overdraft limit, my previous address number etc... Sounds like a scam to me but I gave them the info as I only have a visa and can charge back or change my account number so we shall see... Rang for 5 seconds I didn’t answer

Claimed to be from O2, Asian female voice. Very difficult to understand (thought she was a child at first) didn't help I was in the middle of painting and my radio was on loud. Only answered without looking as assumed it was my wife. Politely told them not interested and to remove my number from their system. I always think the people who get angry and offensive shouldn't cos what's to stop the person calling deliberately giving your number out everywhere? Now blocked.

I also had quick succession calls from those numbers.picked up and they ended the call

unable to understand and hung up on the call. then received calls from 01172054843 and 01242692913 in quick succession each hanging up when I answered. suggest these are all connected numbers

Didn’t answer and they didn’t leave a message. No reason to call me from that area
