01856 700338 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

answer machine picked up call, as it always does. you can hear people in background, obviously busy trying to scam someone, no message left, they just hang up... on ringback they dont answer phone... obviously a non importent call by a scammer... like the way the number is owned by BT, to much profit involed to not sell lines to scammers...

Called at 17:09 today trying to sell personal alarms for the elderly at £299. They took my vulnerable mother’s card details, thankfully we got the card blocked in time. These are scum preying on the elderly and unwell.

Addressed me by my name and then went to say that I qualified for Medical Health Services. I asked what qualified them as scammers and ended the call.

Stated they were from "Medical Services" and said quote "How are you today" to which I replied very well thank you so I don't require your services and hung up :)

Asian accent so blocked them immediately. Another scam.

I was called from this number on Thursday July 24th at 11.25am. The caller had an Asian accent, but gave her name as Debbie. A common tactic of scammers is to pretend to be English when they are plainly not. The caller asked me to give details of appliances that I have insured, but I informed her that I had already given those details when I first took out the insurance. I added that I was not happy discussing payments over the phone before ending the call.

Bizarre call, extremely enthusiastic American lady launched into conversation, hi how are you are you free for a chat, as if it was someone I knew. Asked who she was and what she was calling for, asked if I knew anyone who was lonely or living alone who would like a chat, never once said what organisation she was from, very bizarre call. Ended the phone call.
