Said the router was faulty and would be cut off in 4 hours
answered the call - you could clearly here it was from a type of call centre - but as soon as I answered they hung up!
Calling at random times and not leaving messages.
EE apparently They called me, to offer me deals on my contract, but before we could proceed they wanted me to answer security questions?! How can I guarantee they are actually EE as this isn't the first time this number has called me, pretty sure last time it was about PPI?! If you want to know about offers through EE, contact them direct yourself, don't give personal details to people who call you! Complete nuisance.
Didnt answer & no voicemail left. Now blocked
Called me a few times... Ignored everytime, still persists to call at inconvenient times! Take the hint! Piss off!!
Calls throughout the day and when you call back the number doesn't take incoming calls!!! Dodgy bunch of w@nkers would love to kick the living sh!t out of them hope they all get sti's
Regular calls from EE on this number. Must admit, never speak to them.
they have been calling me constantly for the past few days, normally during school. Picked up today and they hung up straight away.
I would have been happy to listen to the special offers but it concerned me that they asked for my full name and the amount of my last bill and where I bought the phone from. They should know this information already. I told them I didn't have my bills to hand and to call back later. I asked if they could simply email details of these special offers but apparently they can't.
Phoned yesterday but i never answered the call
Called me I answered and they didn't say anything and put the phone down !!! Knobs!!!
This unknown person called me and I want to know who it is
Lady said she is calling from EE and started asking me questions about my details and password. I told her no and she hung up.
Called me earlier and hung up when I answered.... Nuisance
Rang me twice, I don't answer numbers I don't know or if I'm not expecting them.
Rang a number of times
Rang x2 in the last week and left no message.
Getting calls from this number all the time never answer it looks like a dodgy number
Rang. I didn't answer
01844398609 rang me today they say it was EE I told them if it was EE t you would see that you are ringing the wrong number I am not the account holder. And yes they offered me discount on a phone my husband only just got me 4 months ago
Can you please clarify who called from this number? They called at 20.25 on 12/10/15. Thank you.
Called and left no message, I assume spam
EE offering rewards. Was dubious at first but it's the real thing, iPads and other tablets mainly. They weren't pushy with me and you can get more than their original offer if you have time to haggle :)
Said he was from EE, I have no reason to doubt this claim. Call answered immediately without ringing when I returned the call.later which would suggest it is network controlled. He asked for no personal security information but did ask a few questions regarding other contracts, broadband and tablets to try to make me an offer but as I'm not interested in a tablet and my broadband is free...
Go to settings and block the number as with any of these repetitive callers. If I want something from any company I'll call them. I don't have time for their constant calls
Ignored the call. Tried twice yesterday and once today so far!
Got 5 calls from 01844 398609 between 8pm and 9pm didn't answer any of them
This number has been trying to call me for a couple of weeks now. I always ignore it. Do EE know about this?
They rang me twice but I ignored it and the second time they rung they left a voicemail. It sounded like an accident and the man was swearing down the line (unsure whether it was at me or someone else in the room)
Called me twice so far today, no message left..
Fed up with calls from this number
They called me and u don't know who it is :(
I have an iPhone and I've got an app called sync me which has been showing this no up as spam caller when it rings me nearly every day so I just reject the call . There are over 300 numbers on the app this just being one and it cost me nothing
Supposedly EE calling but asking for personal info - I declined and would advice others to too!
Pleas stop this number from calling me
Sounds pretty dodgy called today they were wanting personal details to verify my account which I theory they should already have? Asked what I could spend the 'loyalty credit' on and rhymed off a few bits and pieces I asked if they could just take it off my bill as that would be the only thing that I would be interested in but apparently this is not an option. Maybe legit maybe not. Prob not worth the risk. Will call ee on their proper number some point to see if I am due some goodies
from what i can guess its a con
Very polite, but still a cold marketing call attempting to get me to purchase further product. I kept them talking until they realise it as a lost cause. If they are talking to me they aren't harassing anyone else.
this number called me 3 times yesterday, and 3 times today, comes up unknown. (Just a thought, if you are EE and are genuiine, more people would pick up if you identified yourself !) They have phoned before, a couple of months ago, although at that time i told them not to call me again as i have zero interest in anything they are peddling. Certainly won't pick up now they have ignored my request to stop bothering me...
I work for this company we are a genuine contractor for ee and we sell additional services for EE at discounted prices to existing and new customers, basically pay your bill keep you account in good shape and we will call to offer you these products.
Got a call from this number,. Would like to know who, where from, and why
EE. Offering a loyalty "Bonus". BEWARE. THIS IS NOT A BONUS. Its a scam. Everything they offer you will cost you more money. Don't be fooled. Ask them if they will be rewarding your loyalty with anything that will not cost you more money? Or a bill reduction perhaps? Gobshites.
EE Phoning to see if I want an iPad told them got one. Then they offered me more data and I said 'don't need it' so they said 'why not?'..so I said if u offer me a return flight to Hawaii for a quid I will have your data offer.. I still hanging on the phone for my answer 3 days later...
Called me three times today when I was away from my phone
I dont understand people on here. EE call you and say you're a loyal customer and offer you an ipad at a discounted price for an extra £15 a month. So at the end of the day, they have called YOU up and asked for YOU to give THEM more money. I cant just be me who thinks thats ridiculous! If you were a loyal customer they should be giving you money or discounts off your monthly bill, not getting you to give them more money. what a joke.
EE marketing pain in the @rse
Answered this call today and was also told it was Orange and EE and Loyalty Offers. They were asking all sorts of questions about phones, tablets etc existing in the house and whether or not I took them out of the house with me! Made me very uncomfortable to divulge such information so I told them so and they rang off
Claimed to be EE but I hung up. Who calls at this time of night marketing things?? I Blocked the number now so I can enjoy my evening in peace!!!
Ignored it, not a local number or known number
This number tried to call me today, i don't want to ring back in case it costs but who is it? And what do they want?
Got a call from this number today claiming to be offering a loyalty discount from EE. Sounded well dodgy so I hung up.
This number keeps calling me
Trying to sell second sims also new camera coming out with sim so you can stream video and photos.
This site is bloody good for letting me know I was right in not answering this call to my mobile.
keep getting phonecalls from this number, i rang ee and asked if it was legit . They didnt seem to have any record of it. AVOID
Ignored it for the third time 5 days, no doubt they will ring again later as they did before
Calls every day two or three times never answer it.
Does anyone know who this is also is this person phishing
Kept calling me through out the day left no message since I ignored it
They call at really inconvenient times. Nuisance calls
Claimed to be EE but very unprofessional. Marketing scam again!
They keep calling me in working hours, several times a day for the last few days, very persistent!!!
Called 3 times in the last 24 hours. Answered 1st time but when asked for personal details, got shirty when told her she called me and i'm confirming anything. Haven't answered since and now blocked the number
Called several times recently. Called up EE who confirmed that they are a third party company looking to gain commission from sales after my data was sold to them. They do not represent EE. If you call the number back there is the option to remove your data from the database. If you do this, they can't call you back. Alternatively if they call you just tell them to remove your number from the database.
EE absolute pests... blocked from home phone so called my mobile
It's EE, formerly Everything Everywhere. A British mobile network operator and internet service provider.
Tryed calling tele marketing scam
EE calling with a deal for me, I got the Galaxy tab 4 for £13 a month and for an extra £2 a month I got 10gb of 4G data ....
I had a lovely call from Gemma this afternoon. She was calling to discuss what discounts she could offer me. She was the most happiest person who really cheered up my day and offered me great deals! I can definitely vouch for this number and say it really does offer you great discounts. Definitely not a scammer!
I wish these people would not bother calling - thy do so at the most inopportune moments - I am at work and I do not spend money in work or indeed out of work - I have sent them a text message - - if you are a marketing agency - please don't call again, if you are cold calling , please don't call again , if you do call do me the decency of leaving a message so that I may decide to ignore you when you disturb me at work and after work - oh and I don't spend money In or out of work so don't bother wasting my time.
called me twice one Saturday morning one Monday afernoon
I didn't recognise the number. Typed it in google and it brought up this "who calls me" website. Thank you to everyone who comments because now I know the identity of the caller.
Rang, before I could even say hello, a lady from liverpool asked for me by full name. I hung up :)
Number called me twice today. Second time I answered it, said "hello" several times and they put the phone down on me.
This number called me but did not leave a message
Received a call from this number today, didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number!
Donno why people "accept" multiple calls from this number ! Ever heard of blocking ? I got the call this morning while I was asleep so of course I had the phone on DND. As with all unknown calls that don't leave a msg, I used this site to discover it was a cold call at best and a scam at worst. I didn't block the number as I wanted to hear what they had to say and sure enough I got another call just now.....3pm. From calling me by my first name to the "smammy" tone of his voice, the caller pissed me off. I let him prattle on with out me saying anything other than yes or no or hmmm.......and he soon realised he'd made a mistake calling me. I told him I'd checked the number out online and he got flustered. I said I'd had enough fun with him and said I'd now block the number......and ended the call. You should never put up with repeat calls from this number......and others like it. BLOCK THEM.
Does anyone SERIOUSLY believe that "anyone" would go to the trouble to ring you at all hours of the day or night to offer you 'great deals???'.....or am I just a cynical old Hector???
I received a call from this number on a Wednesday evening, having never received a call from them before. They explained that I was entitled to an extra contract due to being a good customer. I had already been thinking about ordering a MacBook or iPad when they mentioned the iPad Air. I said I'd think about it and to call me back the following Friday at lunchtime. I ended up calling them as I missed the call due to being at work, asked for the same girl I spoke to (her name was Nikki), and she was nothing but friendly and happy to go through everything with me again (I appreciate she wanted the sale but worth mentioning as I've readsome people have experienced rudeness!) Her manager then came on the phone to reiterate everything - prices etc. They offered me a really good deal and the iPad arrived the following Wednesday, 5 minutes after the 1 hour slot I was advised of via email the night before, with legitimate EE headed leaflets/instructions...very pleased :)
Ringing all the time ignored it no voicemail left
Keep calling about promotions but won't stop. Most annoying thing of this centuary
Definitely EE. Amazing service. Received a Ipad at an INCREDIBLE discount with shed loads of data... Cannot believe it. Amazing. They said 30 days, only took a week to arrive! Buzzin' Didn't have to pay postage or anything! So happy, not a scam!
Has rang my phone a good 5 times in the last month, always at bad times funnily enough and always offering me utter garbage (honestly if I've hung up or said I'm not interested 1000 times when will they take my hints)
This might well be EE calling but they never leave a message and are calling me several times a day, I have blocked their number now but it keeps going to voicemail where the only message is background call centre noise, but it is really annoying me now.
Kept calling so I called back, a Scouse guy answered and said "hello ee" without any ring tone before hand or automated service every other ee number has. I asked why he's called so many times and he wanted my EE number. When I refused to give personal details to a stranger he sighed and got very agressive with me. I said I wasn't interested and not to call again. Low and behold they've called again today. Scam!
Keeps callin but doesn't leave a message
It's EE offering you 'deals'
Call from this number on my mobile. I didn't answer as I never answer calls from unrecognised numbers and they didn't leave a message which means I definitely don't know the caller.
Rang yesterday but left no message
EE calling to see how I'm getting on with my contract and give me unwanted/needed free stuff as I've got loyalty points with them
Keeps calling but doesn't leave message
Did not answer as was driving
