Unknown number so didn't answer. Having read on here...now blocked it
His opening gambit was " I've been trying to reach you for days". Bloody liar. Energy inquiry.call
went to answer machine - they did not leave a message
Thanks for doing the research! Won’t answer.
Guy calling himself 'Johnathan' called my landline saying he was from <?> Homes and he "had me down as the owner of this property, is that correct?" When I asked him what property he was referring to he hung up. I called back the number on another line and an answerphone message thanked me for calling 'Relief (or possibly Release) Energy' and that I should hold for the next agent. My research shows that there is a company called Relief Energy Ltd but they are based in Bedford, not Selby. Conclusion; it's either a scam or a telemarketing/sales outfit with very poor research capability.
If you are phoned out-of-the-blue, what should do? NOTHING! Don't even answer the call. Block the number if you can and post a comment anywhere secure and valid. These people are only after your money? They are not your friends.
Phoned my home landline and did not answer, (not in my VIP list). Checked online and not good news, so avoid. Be cautious about unknown telephone calls?
Didn't recognise the number so didn't answer. Think it's probably solar panels. Glad I didn't answer.
Had a call from the above number today, number calling is not in my phone contact list so didn't answer it, but searched on here. As suspected its a cold call/ scam

Accident claim scam
Clearly a noisy packed foreign call centre and NOT EE. So obviously a scam claiming EE is closing down and everything...
