A guy phoned supposedly from Santander asking to confirm security details before proceeding to speak about my account. I said I wanted to phone them back, he said the call will not be transferred to him. As soon as I asked this he said I will receive a letter in the post with all the details and we do not really need to speak. He seemed to know something about my affairs with Santander, considering that he rang me as soon as I went off the phone with them. I believe it was scam. How would he know my details though, question to the bank

Had few calls googled didn't answer then blocked number

caller said it was nic calling from the electric board. I put the phone down

Rang off, When answer phone kicked in. Never answer unknown numbers

Called and left voicemail but did not hear the messsage. Rang back but cut off. Probable scam.

Did not answer the call, but cut it off. A few seconds afterwards another number phoned: 02038460095. I believe they are being used by the same scammer group.

Slough UK, caller waited 4 rings then cut off. Strange! Good job I did not answer. If urgent they will try again.
