Taped message, English female voice, supposedly calling from my bank card services (no bank name, of course!) to say unusual transactions on my card, £190 or so to Amazon and £998 or something similar (I wasn’t paying that much attention) to someone else, if I accepted these payments press one or to talk to someone press 2 ……such an obvious scam. Number blocked immediately. Clever so-and-sos aren’t they? It looked like a local number. Damned annoying, though.
