Claimed to be Welsh Water, wanted to update plumbing and drainage cover that they claimed I took out in 2022, told them that I’d only purchased the property in 2024 and the caller then held up the call

Received call today from this number - claiming to be United Utilities and wanted to take payment to update my Plumbing and Drainage cover that I supposedly took out in 2022. I have never taken this cover out. Lady was very polite and spoke excellent English and was very believable until she said that it was taken out in my name with Ms as the title and she called me Mrs. I never use Ms as a title, only Miss so a slip up there. I then said I would have to look at it from my end and get back to them - she was polite but hung up quickly. I then spoke to United Utilities and they have confirmed this was not them -they have taken details of the call, number and place of origin and have put it on their scam watchlist.
