Just had this number call me. I am a Vodafone customer, but they only ever call me when I'm out of the country, thereby causing me to incur charges when I answer. I was joking at the weekend that they would do this (as it happens every time I travel on business), but I hadn't seen this particular number before (I've now blocked this caller). Vodafone really are a piece of work

Number keeps calling me. I called it back it comes up saying. You've been called today from Vodafone about a non urgent matter. Can't get through to a person to get myself removed as its clearly the wrong person as I don't use Vodafone.

I've just received a call from this number. The man was very persistent that my mobile was an old vodaphone number (I've had the same number for 7 yrs) and they could offer me a massive discount. When I explained this had never been a vodaphone number, he was rude and said "right, would I lie to you?" To which I responded saying "regardless I am not interested in being sold anything & requested they remove my data from there systems". He got angry and was saying stuff like "I'm trying to help you like" and I have the information right here and this was a vodaphone number". Do not answer this call, if this number phones you.

They're most likely scammers going under the name of Vodafone. They want your personal details to remove you from their database - identity theft most likely.

This number rings and when I answer no one speaks and it goes dead. Very frustrating.

You could at least have the decency to leave a voicemail! I've received a call from this number every day this week. It's clearly not that important, as you haven't left a voicemail or text. Your called will be blocked from now on. Too bad.

just had a dead call

Keep receiving calls from this number, usually miss them and am never left a voicemail. However, I've just answered it and they immediately hung up!! Frustrating!!

Keep getting calls from 01709 918629 at least 1 a day. I never answer as don't recognise the number and they never leave a voicemail. If it really was that important you would leave a message. I wonder if Vodafone are aware of this sounds like a massive scam to get people to change their contract and no doub't start making payments to a different account.

Forever calling had enough

Several messages, almost daily over the past few weeks. No message left when I don't respond.

Stop calling me

This number calls at least 3 times a day...I always forward them to voicemail but they never do
