Just asked to speak to me (first name), I had to ask who was calling. Seems like a scam - i hung up.
When I called to be removed from their system, they tried to insist that you give them your name and address so that they can remove you from their system.....A load of BOLLOX. Don't give them any details.
Thought it was a scam number at first looking on here, rang back to waste their time as I usually do lol, asked security which I went through with and phone actually ended up getting upgraded and arrived this morning so is deffo Vodafone, only asked my pin and DOB/postcode.
Once again, pretending to be Vodafone. If this REALLY IS Vodafone, I'd be ashamed to be Vodafone. I called them back after my phone rang for 5 seconds, Call was answered. Now blocked until the next number they call from.
SCAM!! Someone claiming to be from Vodaphone - starting out with a lie. Asked me questions only Vodaphone would already know. Said they were for 'security purposes'. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE PEPOLE. END THE CALL AND BLOCK THE NUMBER! Simples!
Another Rotherham "Vodafone" account inquiry. I just hung up. I don't know why I answered in the first place. I don't tolerate anyone calling me during the day anyway as I am at work.
claimed she was from Vodphone if that was ture they would know im no where near due a up grade!!!
Some miserable sounding guy with a Yorkshire accent. Claiming to be Vodafone and wanted to check if I was in my contract and needed an upgrade. They had my name slightly incorrect (which was an instant red flag), when I said I found the call a little dodgy and wanted to go into the store instead to discuss this (because I've had dodgy calls like this before), he got quite moody and then hung up. I doubt someone from Vodafone would act this way and just hang up in the middle of me speaking and explaining why I felt this was dodgy. Him getting quite moody when I refused to go through his "security checks" too was a big red flag. Block this number and if you have any doubts, go to your local Vodafone shop.
Called me claiming to be from vodafone and that I'm due an upgrade. Said my name wasn't correct on the system, but maybe I used my middle name??? I laughed and said I only have one name. HANG UP, AND BLOCK. Don't give them any info.
Claimed to be from Vodafone .. But I so didn't believe her ..
received a couple of calls ( unknown ) eventually answered claiming to be vodafone - sked for my PIn no said i did not know it asked for 2 letters from mothers maiden name then asked if I was still a sole trader - very strange as i get work discount from Vodafone and they would know what my job is - questioned him on this and started to explain to me what a sole trader is- put phone down and blocked call strange thing is I am about o phone vodafone about my contract - so they have access to somethings - BE VERY CAREFUL!
Vodafone sales reps, or a company working on their behalf, trying to sell phone upgrades.
