01642 609332 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

They called me in Cardiff. I didn't answer so the phone went to answerphone. They left no message - I'm always suspicious of that...

Called, at 10:18hrs on 10th December, no message... Operating, on the principal that any genuine-caller - with legitimate reason for the call - would leave a message, that these didn't, is why I checked here. Happening all too frequently, a problem with such callers, is if you do reply it only validates your number as a potential resource for these scammers, and your number (itself) become a source of income, when they sell them on for others to use. Damn them all!

..... here we go again ........ phone rings - and I answer .... there`s a 10 second delay and a female begins here " energy adviser " spiel . ...... I stop her after 10 seconds - then inform her ( 1 ) I don`t need the services of an energy adviser ( 2 ) adviser her that she is working on behalf of a " bunch of crooks " ( 3 ) ..... this is a private line - go away !!!!! ( goodness knows how I did not explode into a mass attack of expletives - beware people out there - these people have no shame and will fleece you @ the earliest opportunity .

No message left on answer phone but stayed on the line

Thank you, just called me too. Unknown number so let the ansaphone take it. They left no message.

Claimed to be a windows and doors company. I have signed up to the telephone preference service or TPS so they have ignored that. Given this behaviour I wouldnt trust them.
