Very convincing male caller called “Peter” (with an English accent) claiming to be a supervisor from the Santander fraud department. Apparently they intercepted a fraudulent charge for an Air B&B transaction and claim someone has requested new banking app log in credentials. They ask if that was you. When you say it wasn’t, they say they’re going to issue you with new current account details and sort code in case the old number has been compromised. They new my full name and last three digits of my bank card. It all sounded very similar to a real Santander call right up to the moment he directed me to log into the phone app, tap on pay at the bottom and set up a new payee!
