Missed call from this number to my mobile yesterday. Blocked number anyway as I don't know it. Very glad I did after reading comments!

Rang at least once daily for a fair few days didnt answer . Glad after reading this site I didnt .Unfortunately cannot block it on my phone but as prevoius posts when they become a nusiance to people they should be fined or shut down but they will simply start up again using a different number no doubt. Just block if you can or ignore if you cant.

Keep getting calls from this number. Don't answer asking about PPI.

Very rude man. I claimed PPI but was never told that I had to pay them. I assumed they took the money straight out of the settlement. When they rang, the phone was quiet. After saying hello 3 times I hung up. As I hung up I heard someone say hello. Then within seconds, an withheld number called and the man was terribly rude and said "every time I ring u hang up" when he fact he didn't speak. He asked for my DOB to which I said I did not give out over the telephone. He was extremely rude so I hung up. What bad parents they must have to not teach them manners

Just had these jokers on the line. Pretty sure some one was being sexually aggressive to a goat in the background and the chap on the line was trying to sell me hashish. To be fair £20 a henry is fairly decent but I get my stuff of some mad cunt up the lane who refuses to plug his TV in because Aliens are reading his mind so you know its good whallop.

Yep, you guessed it another PPI claim. Told the guy to take my name off his database as I am not interested. When he said, "Interested in what?" In a very sarcastic manner, I asked him for his name, the company name and company registration number. He hung up immediately....

Had a missed call on my mobile while driving, as I was waiting for an important call from an organisation I called back when I stopped. Company wanting to process a claim of some sort, clearly fraudsters. Wasted my PAYG money. Annoyed. These calls could block serious safety related calls.

got a call from "michelle" about ppi i might be owed, so i asked if she would be interested in claiming compensation for the accident she was involved in, she claimed she wasn't in an accident. I proceeded to ask her details i.e phone number, d.o.b, home addresses. They don't like that kind of questioning haha

Why do these people keep calling? Total nuisance - even today on bank holiday. I block all their numbers on my mobile but such a nuisance to have to deal with it in the first place

Called today as I got in the car. Answered and put on mute straightaway without a word. Started the car and she was still on the line having a conversation with a coworker when I got home. 9 minutes of wasting her time before she hung up hahaha

Didn't answer but it would appear to be from HYC, Deansgate, Manchester and related to PPI

PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. They were quite persistent and LOUD and kept calling me by my first name which annoyed me too seeing as I have never met them, and don't want to meet them.

Didn't pick up, read these comments, so i just used the 'block' this number on my iphone....no doubt they will use another number, but good luck to them as i will just keep blocking and not answering.

Just got a call from these people. I didn't give them a chance to say much but what I heard in the background sounded like the worst behaved creche in the world. Blocked.

I never answer any call not on my contact list - SIMPLE! Yes; it may be important; but then they will SMS or leave a voicemail; wouldn't they? Remember, once they have established there is someone answering, they shall continue. This is their JOB - and no law in this country to deal with such xxxxholes.

Put this number on Auto-reject list but they seemed to get through to my number anyway. Very annoying and felt harassed by a woman name Shannon. She was asking what banks I have had accounts with and if for a loan, credit cards etc. Very intrusive! I hung up. Strongly recommend you do not answer the phone to these dodgy PPI People!!!

These people phone me all the time, given up trying to beat them so I just play games, the last 3 times I have said yes I was in an accident, after a 10 minute conversation I say, "it doesn't matter if I was drunk at the time does it" it surprising how quick they put the phone down, of course I wasn't in an accident, contrary to their records, in my book the longer you keep them on the phone the more it costs them.

Rang was very insluting when I asked to be put on the don't call list I was told there is no such thing. When I pointed out I was only 14 they become more offensive saying I was a lair ect.

Missed call from these people but could hear them in background on my recorded answering service screaming expletives to people on calls. Report and block, have sent recording to ofcom along with number, details.

PPI , called my mobile, told them I don't need there help, they told me they can get more money than I can my self, I hung up and blocked the number

been repeatedly calling me finally answered today and it was PPI. Despite me say no and not de anything he repeatedly kept trying to get me to look at a claim. Ignored my request to be taken off the phone list. He was v rude. In end I hung up and have blocked the number.

I had a call from this number and they asked to speak to someone that wasn't me but then continued to question me. In the end I just put the phone down.... Surely with all the comments of how rude, annoying and harrassing they are they can be taken to court? I don't even know how businesses like this continue to make money it baffles me?

Got a call on my mobile from this number about half an hour ago. Didn't answer as it came up Manchester and I don't know anyone from there. Looked online and found this page. So glad I didn't answer, I am so sick of cold calls. They seem to increase after I put my CV on job search sites.

Try using NQ Call Blocker if you have an Android phone. Then you'll only hear from these morons once.

I have been getting phone calls a lot from this number ... I dont answer any more because I have never had a loan or anything that would mean I was entitled to ppi I have to them this but still they call every week

Answered to this number because I'm actually waiting for a phone call from an 0161 number. As soon as it heard PPI I said "no thank you" and hung up. I'm doing this with all nuisance calls.

Like all the others, I've received multiple calls from this number - politely advised not interested. They then become very abusive and rude. Have blocked this number on my mobile which hasn't stopped them - they just ring on another number. As they blatently leave their number on decent people's mobiles, why isn't ofcoms (or whoever are supposed to stop this) doing anything about it?

I answered the phone to a guy trying to see if I'm owed ppi, in the back ground there was screaming and shouting. I put the phone down and blocked the number. Don't answer!!

PPI nuisance call. When they phoned me they talked as if they already started some kind of PPI request for me. I asked where they got my number and they couldn't tell me. I told them to take it off their database and hung up. Do not answer. Call centre located in Manchester interestingly so at least it's not another Indian one.

It was the usual ppi claim call. After insisting I wasn't interested and ask that she remove my details several times her answer was always the same, after she's finished the call. I helped her along by hanging up!

Received a call from this number but as I didn't recognise it I didn't answer it. I rang it back a little later with my number blocked so they wouldn't know who it was and there was just a man that kept saying hello so I hung up. I was expecting an automated system like you get with most legit places which normally say who they are and what they do. After reading these comments I'm glad I never answered and it seem's like a pure scam to me and I would love to know how they got my number. If I spoke to people in the way that these people have spoke to most, I would get booted out the door and rightly so! These people need to get a proper job or maybe just disappear?!

Just another poor sod sitting in a cramped call-centre on minimum wage wanting to know if I'd ever had PPI. I let the young lady drone on for a bit, dangling the carrot of a sale in front of her, lulling her into a false sense of hope, before hanging up. Mind you, this PPI call is a symptom of this illness that is modern Britain: a nation of betting shops, payday loan companies and call centres - all thanks to successive Labour and Tory governments (and the EU). First got a call from 07937941232 saying they wanted to help me with a claim related to an accident. I said I'd had no accidents and hung up. They then rang back using 0161 741 4000 immediately, but I didn't answer. I don't bother asking "junk callers" to remove my details as I doubt they will and they seem not to care about the law. :(

Received nasty call this morning from this number but hung up. They did call me a number of times on the landline but I blocked their number. Now they are calling and molesting me on my mobile.

How rude are these people. They call you unsolicited and then insult you.

I am sick of these people calling about PPI. I requested in a very polite tone that they stop calling me and before I could finish the woman o the phone who only seemed able to shout slammed the phone down.

This number calls me every week even though I have told them I have no ppi or been I'm an accident as every week it's something different. I have know idea how they got this job as every time they are so so rude shouting at me to help my self then.

Very Cheeky Manc, finnished every sentence with Daaarlin!! Told me I was entitled to claim PPI on loans and credit from the last 25 years, said he would put forms in the post. He took my address and name and tried to get former names, addresses, etc then got shirty when I refused, telling him he was trying to obtain the same information as any fraudster would. Now kicking myself for giving him my Name and address. DO NOT TAKE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!!

Got a call from this number. Been receiving calls from other 0161 numbers, they're just not worth picking up! They tried to claim that I had suffered a neck injury in the past year, I said no I haven't, and they insisted that I had. I think I would remember having a neck injury thank you very much!

Often get messages from numbers I don't recognise so often don't answer. If it's important I expect a message to be left. Today is no exception. I look on here and see the feedback, so glad I didn't answer.

Had a call today from this company using 0161 741 4000 number wanting to talk tome about my PPI claim. I never submitted one to expect anyone to call. As soon as the woman (who gave a name as Michelle) said PPI claim, I just hung up.

These people keep ringing my 11yr olds phone. He doesn't answer but they keep persisting. Look at the internet they are presumably PPI which he has quite obviously never had at the age of 11. God knows where they have got his number from! Makes my blood boil

I would like to know how this company got hold of my 11 yr olds pay as you go number which he has only had 3 weeks its outrageous that these companies can get hold of numbers that quick!

Answered the call to loud background noise and a man asking if "I had thought about my claim for Payment Protection Insurance". I told him politely that I don't have PPI and am therefore not interested. His response "how do you know you don't have PPI?" I repeated myself but when he refused to listen, I hung up. Ridiculous cold callers.

Just another spam call. As soon as I heard the words "PPI", instantly hung up and blocked the number. I'm 18, why on earth would I have PPI? It's disgraceful that our numbers are given out to these people by colleges and universities. It's taking advantage of young people who don't know any better. Luckily I'm not a moron, and sites like this help us to identify these twits.

Very rude PPI caller... referring to me as 'darling'... I don't think so... I asked where they bought my number from, refused to give me information, refused to give me the email address of their complaints department... They wanted my email address though... funny that!

i got another call that keeps on with this ppi I've asked time and time again if they would stop phoning me if there not phoning my mobile .they are phone my land line I've tried blocking them but they keep useing different numbers
