Lady with a strong Indian accent said she was from O2 and offered 40% discount on my bill. Then she asked for my email address. When I pointed out that O2 already knew that there was a hint of tetchiness in her voice but she texted me a code - which actually said not to give it out to anyone claiming to be from O2! I hung up. I am an O2 customer; was it luck they chose O2 or have they been hacked?

This caller said they were from EE and I was getting a discount on my bill. They wanted bank details and I said "if you're from EE then you already have my details" I hung up when he was trying desperately to get any information from me. These people are scammers.

The caller said she was from O2 and , since I was a good customer, they were making me an offer. The line was very crackly so I said it would be best to send a text. At that point, the caller hung up.
