Called and said they were from Vodafone. Told me that they had charged me incorrectly. Was a bit dubious but they had all of my information and my husbands including date of birth. They then somehow ordered an iPhone 17. Called Vodafone and they stopped it. Scam scam scam
person who called stated they were from Sky Services and were offering me a 40% discount on my Sky, (the fact it was a Norwich number raised concerns), the woman then asked if I was happy with their service but the line was very crackly and I told her this, but that yes I am happy with Sky. she then asked me for my email address, I refused stating that if she was from Sky she would already have this information and that I did not believe she was from Sky, and when I said that they could send me an email (to my account) with details of their offer of a discount they immediately ended the call NOT Sure if this was a Scam or just telemarketing but if someone phones me and then asks me to confirm my email this rings alarm bells. Using a reverse number look up confirms that it was NOT Sky as the women stated.
