They called me posing as my phone company, wanting to reduce my phone bill. They told me to cancel my direct debit and set up another with them. I hung up and phoned my mobile phone company to check if anyone had phoned me. He said no, it could be scam. The number of months they was offering, my company doesn't offer 36 months contracts.

Claimed to be 'phonehouse' (I think they meant Carphone Warehouse) and had a 'deal' about a new iPhone 13 when I don't have an account with services like this (only Vodafone and I buy my phones outright) and when questioned about this they just hung up. I don't even use iPhones and I never will so clearly their targeting choice is poor too in addition to their scamming ability.

In the last 12 minutes I've had 3 calls from 3 different numbers and it always seems to be when I use insurance comparison sites. I'm registered with telephone preference services - never answer unknown numbers and will block scammers
