This is from a place to do with lung checks.They sent a letter out to infom the public they would be calling.Its to ask if you have any health issues and if you would be interested in taking the lung tests.

It's not a scam call. However they only let it ring a few times then if you don't answer they hang up. Very very annoying. The call is a company getting paid for making appointments for NHS. In effect that's YOUR MONEY being spent. They can't be bothered to let it ring a few times. Giving us time to get to the phone and answer it isn't in their mandate. No patience results in no patients !

Its NHS calling to see if you would like them to arrange lung health care.;if you are between 55 and 74 years old. They normally write to you first and give an indication as to the day and time when they will call you . In my own case the NHS used Ashfield Healthcare Ltd Ceva House,Excelsior Rd Ashby-De-La-Zouch LE5 1NU. They sent the letter and made the call on behalf of my GP's surgery in London . So the phone number and the company are located in Coalville despite me and my GP being located in London. So its NOT a SCAM

Didn't answer it only to discover later that it was the NHS calling to arrange my routine lung scan and I was expecting the call. Why call from Leicestershire when I'm in Mexborough South Yorkshire? I'm more likely to answer a familiar number....Sureley thats not just me?????
