Ended call, sounded like Satan's f**k buddy
did not answer. as per other comments above, I already have the vodafone social tariff setup installed and running for over 3 weeks, have paid the first direct debit amount, all going well so far. Vodafone do warn you that the setup call will be from an 01482 number, but I had that 5 weeks ago. may be a clone, but I won't answer, they can send me an email, text, or call on my VOIP (ex-landline) phone number.
Felt wrong, ended call, Hull area code. Said "it is Broadband here", mmm.
Called my mobile on 15/11/2023 at 16.45. I wasnt able to answer so no idea who it was.
Vodafone social broadband need 2 weeks to call you back: https://www.vodafone.co.uk/broadband/essentials-broadband While BT suggest same offer with 2 minutes online check: https://www.bt.com/terms/home-essentials
Vodafone 'RE social tariff however after passing thoroughfare protection security confirming my post code and house number they asked me to provide my email address which I had already given in the website. A bit suspect.
Genuine number. It's Vodafone calling about broadband social tariff.
I applied for social broadband (cheaper broadband for those on certain benefits) with Vodafone having read about it on Money Saving Expert. You register your interest online and they call you back some days later. If you miss the call, they will attempt to call you a maximum of 5 times I believe them you would need to register again. My application was processed online. I initiated contact with them first online, I didn't answer their first call as I didn't recognize the number. I did some checking and answered the second call. All good.
Indeed it was vodaphone regarding social tariff application
Thanks. It was indeed Vodafone calling me about my social tariff application.
