I ordered a laptop from Curry's yesterday and have had several calls today from this number. I didn't answer and having seen previous comments have blocked this number.
This number called me and I gave them my postcode and confirmed what I had bought will anything happen? I did not confirm bank details
Currys pc world calling to let me know about items I ordered and what would happen on the day of delivery, calling to see if I wanted product protection, call centre based in the UK.
This number has just called me regarding an Apple Watch that I have just purchased yesterday. It was a man with some sort of English accent claiming he works with Curry’s PC world and wanted to provide me with information on when my item would be delivered. He wanted me to confirm my name and address then went on to ask if I wanted a warranty for the watch. I said no and instantly the call was disconnected. It worries me that this individual knew that I ordered and what I had ordered from this company and had my number to contact me. Always remember NEVER give away any of your bank details over the phone.
Don’t answer numbers I don’t recognise. In common with some of the entries above I also bought from curry’s recently.
I also Bought from Currys 2 weeks ago and have had a missed call from this number. Did not answer. Looked up as trusting nobody these days! Thank goodness I did.

Same comments as above, recently ordered an Apple Watch a few weeks ago, I’m glad I’ve not answered but they have phoned me at least 3 times a day!! Absolute chancers. I’ve contacted curry’s personally to ask how the information could have possibly been passed on.. no answer yet. NO COMPANY SHOULD ASK FOR BANK DETAILS OVER THE PHONE PLEASE DON’T ANWSER.
PC world, trying to sell you an extended warranty. Even if you have already bought a warranty. Just say you already bought one, and click, they're gone.
As above, woman with an English accent claiming to be from Currys, asked for my details, I think I only caught on quite late though. I called it off when I felt they were going to start asking for bank details for a care and protect plan. Remember that no company will ever ask for your bank details through phone number. I already regret even giving them my number.
Ditto above. English accent from this number. His patter was rubbish wanting bank details etc. So binned him and found this. Scam or not, wasn't sure. But glad I found this.
Just received a call from this number. Didn’t answer but looked it up and noticed the above comments. Funnily enough I ordered from curries/pc world yesterday. I guess the scammers were trying their luck with me also. Perhaps curries/pc world should warn their customers.
As per previous posters, I received a call from a man on this number claiming to be Currys PC World regarding my delivery (I had just ordered something for delivery from them yesterday). He said he was going to go through what would happen on the day, and give me a specific delivery window. He asked me to confirm various pieces of personal information to confirm that I was in fact the person who had ordered. I asked him why this info was required. He mumbled that it was a follow-up call from Currys and explained that I didn't have to give the information if I didn't want to. He asked again for the info. When I challenged him the next time, he disconnected on me. I contacted Currys via Facebook Messenger, and they confirmed they don't have this number. As mentioned above, it was a male with an English accent, calling from a Glasgow number, which isn't always suspicious but was with the rest of the call!
The call apoeared to be from Currys PCWorld about a freezer I bought, being delivered tomorrow. Except he wasn't t telling me anything about the delivery but was trying to sell me a longer care and protect plan, then asked for my bank details. I said no, and he said he would look up my records and didnt come back. I was a bit suspicious hearing a Birmingham or Liverpool accent from a Glasgow phone number.
