'Katie Jackson' wouldn't identify where she was calling from, super aggressive in trying to get through to a director, rude when it was clear she wasn't being transferred having given no info whatsoever, and I honestly don't think any legitimate company would allow someone like that loose on the phones...
Received a call from this number. Was extremely rude to a member of our team. No genuine company would act like that.
Had the same experience with this "katie" asking to speak with the M.D saying that she had a call back for 3.30 pm with the M.D. I questioned her and she got arsey are rude, saying 'M.D will know who I am". I knew this was false as the M.D is my mother and we work together, and I answer all the calls. Im not sure what she was after but it seems very odd!
Had a call from Jamie who wanted to speak to our MD. After asking his name and the company he worked for became evasive and rude. He said he was Jamie Smith from Smiths. I asked what the company did because there are many Smiths, he said it's just a company - J Smiths. He huffed and puffed and put the phone down
Pretty the same as everyone else above, Katie Jackson (probably not her real name), wouldn't say where she was calling from. She asked for one of the directors by first name only, saying he would know what the call was regarding, pushed for me to put her through to him a couple of times, I told her he wasn't in the office, that I would need to take a message and get him to call her back, she said not to worry, she would try another time.
Asked for one of our directors by name, I asked what it was regarding. She said, ok if he is in tell him it is Katie. I asked what it was regarding, she said 'I don't think you understand, it is Katie, Katie Jackson' I did understand. I asked where she was calling from and she said' I don't think you understand, I am calling on behalf of myself' I did understand. I said 'Katie Jackson, will he know what it is regarding' and she said. 'It is regarding our conversation earlier today' I put her on hold and she ended the call. I can see reading earlier comments that this same person called me in November asking for a previous director and another time asking for our telephone system details. Hopefully she will give up as she won't get through to the person she wants, but on the off-chance that she does. Or with a bit of luck she will read some of the comments and realise that we are not interested! Maybe it is time to find another job Katie.
Said they were calling from a non profit called the community broadband organisation and asked questions about our phone setup. Told me I had to tell them how many mobiles & hand sets we used so they could update the exchange. But hung up when challenged.
Katie Jackson - same as all the above reports. Can't get past reception Hunny !!
Rude lady asked to speak to my boss, when i explained he wasn't in the office, she rudely replied that he was there earlier! I said well he's not here now? Who's calling please? she didn't want to answer where she was from.
Pretended she knew our director by saying his name (he no longer works here) then tried another director name (clearly reading them off Companies house) claimed she was from a company called better or Vetter poor line so couldn't quite hear which, but claimed she had been in an email conversation with the director that had left and the other name she plucked out. when placed on hold to see if the other director knew her she hung up.
Appalling. A caller claiming to be Katie Jackson phoned today, immediately rude and dismissive, seemingly assuming she’d reached a switchboard. She implied my co-director knew her, which was untrue. I asked four times where she was calling from; she refused to answer, and when I explained she was already speaking to a Director, she hung up. A shocking and unprofessional way to conduct business.
Received a phone call from Katie Jackson asking to speak to the director by name. When I asked what it was for she wouldn't tell me and said the director would know her. When I pushed for more info, she hung up.
Received a phone call from Katie Jackson asking to speak to the director by name. When I asked what it was with respect to she wouldn't tell me and said it was to do with a prior conversation and the director would know what its about and know her. I said if she wouldn't tell me where she is calling from I would just do a Google search of the phone number. She then hung up.
3 in one day,all friendly enough at first but very evasive about what she wanted when asking to speak to the Boss.
