01376 319169 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Got a missed call at about 3pm but didn’t see it for an hour. No voicemail and don’t recognize Braintree at all. Glad I checked here before thinking about calling it back because clearly all of us getting this mystery call today is sketchy. Blocking it now.

Heard a ringing tone when I answered call (as if I was ringing them). I hung up before they could answer. Blocked number - scam.

That number is from Gamma Telecom Holdings Limited, they are a Business to Business reseller and are testing to see if your number is live, if you answered you number is now on a list of live numbers probably being sold to the highest bidder, expect more unsolicited calls...

Automated message- Is now a good time to speak? and then hung up. As soon as I answered, it rang as if I was making the call. Hopefully not a reverse charge scam.

Same as all comments above - call from Braintree, England at 11:02. Answered the call and it had a dialing tone as if I was the one calling them, a man asked "is now a good time to speak?" and when I asked who it was, the call ended.

Answered the call. Heard a phone ringing then a voice asked "Is this a good time to speak?", as if we were in some second rate spy thriller. I asked "Who's calling?" to which the call was immediately disconnected. Can't find any info on the number anywhere but here...and only from today.

My phone rang and when I answered it I heard a ringing tone as if I had phoned them! A well spoken man then came on the line and said "is now a good time to speak?" I asked who was calling and he hung up. Number now blocked.

Automated call, I heard phone ringing bell as soon as I have answered the call. An automated VM asked 'Is it a good time to speak?' and then hung up.

I had the same experience - automated voice asked me if it was a good time to speak. I asked 'who is this please' and they hung up. When I rang back, the number was reported as not recognised.
