Fraud - trying to get you to press 1 as your national insurance number is being blocked .
NI scam call. Other numbers used by these people are 01369 400021, 400024 and 400025. I’ve received 2 calls from 400024 and 1 from 400025 and 400021.
As the commenters above, lied and tried to get my data.
Pigeon English speaking man purporting to be from PC World...Hung up
Said to was phone warehouse I asked were yiyour calling from stated London clearly a scammer
Claimed to be from EE, Indian man with extremely poor English language. I’m not an EE customer so maybe a cold call telemarketer. Terminated call quickly as near impossible to understand him.
Did not answer the phone as it showed up as a potential fraud.
Answered as I know people in Dunoon. Line went dead after a few seconds. Think it’s a scam. I’ve had three calls today from three different numbers. All scams. I didn’t answer the other two, but checked after. Beware they are out to get us.
An automated voice saying something about Magistrates Court and National Insurance then press 1 to talk to an operator... I ignored it; I think it's a phishing scam trying to get personal details.
Do not know anyone in Dunoon, so I left the call ringing without answering. No message left. I suspect this was a scam call so I have blocked the number.
Just called my mobile, connected for couple of seconds then call was dropped
Not sure what the end game was here, the software may have been malfunctioning or trying to get me to call back, but I just got silence for a few seconds, then a buzz, then it hung up.
scam call saying they’re from carphone warehouse. I said not interested and they hung up on me
Told them where to go. Number blocked, but dare say they will try again with a different number. They are trying to get your NI number.
Robot voice saying I will be prosecuted and NI suspended.. press 1 to talk to an operator... SCAM!! Do not press 1... 🤬
A message about my national insurance number & that I may be prosecuted for not using it, asked me to press 1 for further information
