Rang me a few times claiming to be calling about a car accident claim, from a couple of years ago that wasn't my fault. Definitely a scam.

Car accident claims scammers- I've never had a car accident.
Silent call disconnected when I didn't say anything
Called me for a short time so I couldn’t answer while in hospital. 3 minutes later I realised, tried to ring back and it was awful music followed by the generic “a representative will be with you shortly”
Number called me saying theyre from aviva, im guessing its a scam
Talking about the recent car accident, but I was not involved in anything. It is a scam call.
1 call from this number came up as Easingwold I don't know anyone from Easingwold
I answered this call at 11am and it was one of those "I'm calling about your recent accident" calls as apparently the other party had admitted liability and I was due for compensation. I tried to give them an out by asking which accident but after much probing they could only say "the recent one". I went along with it as they asked me for details about the accident, I.e. was I stationery or moving? So I described my return from the moon in my rocket when a superhero cut across my path and knocked me out of orbit. They did a verbal double-take like they'd misheard so I had to repeat it several.times before they hung up. This follows a similar call in the last week with same Indian accent which was apparently about my recent report of damp in my house. On neither call did I get far enough to see if they would try and obtain a retainer fee of some kind (scam) or if they were touting for genuine business (spam). Either way my number is not shared anywhere for such calls so they've got it by illegal means or shear mass-number calling.
Had a missed call so short my phone didn’t even have the chance to ring at around 2:30pm. I called back but there’s no signal, only music and an automated voice saying “a representative will be with you shortly”. I hung up after 3 minutes. Think it’s a scam so have blocked the number.
One call after 2pm. It only rang twice and stopped. I pressed the red button anyway and rang the number back just now. Automated voice saying an advisor will be with me soon. I hung up.
