Had a call saying that my washing machine guarantee had expired and I could cover it for £6.99 a month. I asked how long they thought we had had the machine for, which he couldn't answer, when I told him over 8 years, we was a bit flummoxed then asked if they could cover the fridge freezer. I said NO.
Have had 2 calls from this number in last few days. They don't leave a message on answerphone
No idea what this call was about as no one spoke.
0930. First words spoken were good afternoon, your washing machine guarantee has expired and we are giving you two years free guarantee!!! Then they wonder why we hang up😁
Daisy from Home Help Services, had lots of fun playing the fool of not knowing how old I was etc etc. When asked for information I asked if scammer and said told not to give out information . She then hung up.. Blocking number
Caller hung up as soon as I said I was not the person he asked for
Went to answering machine and they didn't leave a message
I told them I would call the person they wanted and they hung up.
I let the answer service get it. They didn't leave a message. From others I believe it's some sort of home appliance insurance scam. Number is provided by IP Voice Networks listed with director as Lucinda Joy THORPE-DOWNEY. Perhaps we should start lobbying these facilitators to get them to clean up their act.
