It's a hoax, claiming to be from RAC but unsolicited caller asking a lot of personal questions. Don't trust it. - Block it.

This number rang me and dropped the phone as soon as I answered. Very fishy, must be some sort of scam.

Claimed to be from the RAC trying to sell upgrades. Asking for personal details. Told him we don't take unsolicited calls.

I received a call today after having daily missed calls from this number. It was from a man claiming to be from the RAC because I had cancelled my membership. He started asking for my personal details so that he could cancel my membership. I had already called last month to cancel my renewal I had also stopped any direct debit coming out of my bank account to the RAC and told him so. He insisted that it couldn't be stopped unless I gave him my details. I hung up and phoned the RAC to report it. The lady I spoke to told me that they would not ask for personal details to stop a renewal. It sounds like a hoax to me.

I can confirm that this number is in use by RAC and if you get a missed call from them. They’re likely calling to offer a discount on their product due to the current financial climate
