Don’t know anyone in Edinburgh, said something about a caseline number. Cuts off at the start and doesn’t make sense. It’s a general number and isn’t listed as suspected spam / scam which is weird.
Automated message with gramatical errors. National Insurance fraud line ? I'm employed by a company who pay all of this for me. Worryingly a genuine number for Edinburgh Sheriff Court !!!!
Nuisance call but worryingly a genuine number for Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Got a call that came up as 'Edinburgh Sheriff Court' (also the no. is an Edinburgh area code). I was told that there was a warrant out for my arrest and that I was being done for tax evasion/fraud. Asked for my name, and my job status. I asked for paperwork and also if it was to do with tax that surely HMRC would contact me. The woman on the line told me to 'shut up' and hung up.
Same as the other comments. Automated message regards cancelling national insurance etc. Phone number appears to be genuine however.
It started with saying roughly not listening to the message would be considered an offence. I then put the phone down.
Automated message about losing National Insurance, benefits, Magistrates. Spam
Robo message about "press one to connect to our department to discuss a serious matter"
