Very friendly text message implying that he knew me and saying that he was a recruiter for Facebook etc. did I want to earn some money. Called twice today 10 minutes apart. Deleted as I always do! Don’t answer or reply to anyone I don’t recognise.

Unknown number, so didn't pick up. They haven't rung back.

Said they were from Newdaycare on recorded message. Did not want to press any numbers to 'speak to customer services' so have blocked the number. There should be a government site where all these numbers can be reported so that, at least, some could be traced and the perpetrators fined.

Called saying they are from carphone. Asking why I don’t want there promotion for an iPhone 13. They hung up after I said where they got my number from

Someone claimed to be calling from Carphone warehouse. When challenged how they obtained my number, simply stated "F*** you!" and hung up.

Answered call to a male singing to me. Hung up moments later
