01264 264009 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Answered said hello and the guy just kept saying hello hello. In the end blocked phone number calling from Andover.

I struggled to understand the strong foreign accent. I think they claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. I just hung up. I suspect spam or fraud.

Called saying they were from virgin media and could offer me 50% off a new phone, I'm actually a virgin customer so when they asked if I was a iPhone or Android user I knew it was BS as they would know that already if genuine. I said I'll call virgin myself 🤓 and she hung up. (Very heavy Indian accent) A blatant scam! Be viligiant and don't forget to warn your elderly or vulnerable friends and relatives about these calls.

They hung up themselves after they said, “Hello” and I responded “Hello”. ? So I blocked the number.

Someone with no training or knowledge seems to have got hold of a list of Carphone Warehouse customers and is cold calling. The contract I suspect they are following up on expired 2 years ago. If it genuinely is Carphone warehouse, Management should be ashamed as the individual has had no training in their products or the English language.

The woman (not native English speaker) started by saying “Hello, how are you?” and said she is from a warehouse company. I asked which, she repeated once, and cut off the call.

Called said he was from car phone warehouse then offered me a brand new iPhone for £35 a month. I don't have an iPhone and haven't bought from Car phone warehouse... Pretty sure it was spam/phising.
