Claiming to be from carfone and then said tmobile. Asking what device I have, when I asked why they needed to know such info, caller for mad because I was asking basic questions. Clearly a scammer getting annoyed people challenge them.
Claimed to be from carphone warehouse asking for details about my mobile contract. Very defensive when i used the word scam in responce.
Claimed to be EE.....told her I was contracted to virgin so fuck off.
Indian call centre claimed to be Car Phone Warehouse, now blocked
They told me there was an HMRC warrant out for my arrest due to tax fraud. Told them that was nonsense and I hung up.
Very garbled speech unable to understand caller - didn't respond when I asked where they got my number from .....I hung up
Persistent calls from this unwanted number
I answered the call. There was no one there, only background noise, then the line went dead. I have now blocked the number.
Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. Bad line but hung up anyway and blocked the caller
Introduced himself as from the Carphone Warehouse. I explained that I didn't need anything from Carphone Warehouse and ended the call.
Quite simple, if you don't recognise the number then don't answer it. It works for me 👍
Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse wanting to upgrade my phone. They have severed their contract with the mobile service provider I use, so it’s unlikely they were genuine. Asked if I could tell them what phone I have. I told them I certainly could (but I wasn’t going to)!
If you get a call from this number, you need to change your number as someone is tracking you and know what you search for on your phone and who you call
caller said was from currys pc world. i have no affiliations with them so ended call!
Missed the phone call from 01252 242015 in Aldershot. Never answered due to being busy
Said they were carphone warehouse. I hand up straight away as could tell by tge strong accent and background noise it was suspicious. Definetely spam seeing they say they are a different company depending on who they're speaking with.
I’ve had several calls over a three month period saying they are virgin Mobile offer me special deals if I take out a new phone. I keep telling them I’m not interested and to remove my number but they still keep calling they even offered to pay my remaining contract if I took out a new service with them my gut feeling is this is a scam
Said they were from Virgin Media and tried offering me a phone package, hung up before they could say the price
Rang and said its carphonr warehouse £40 a month phone. When k stood I wasn't of free only I can't afford. He said I'll send it free you just need to pay £50. Clearly indian accent but his name was Jimmy
Automatic message said 'You are currently the only person in this conference'
Caller hung up when I answered. This is irritating and borders on harassment
Scam, don’t give them your details and don’t believe they are the company they say they are, just block the number
Names a company and talks about deals etc or Insurance, remember to check the official website of whatever they are called, e.g, currys pc world and call them direct if you want deals... Stay safe.
Got notification saying silenced call deffo spam!
Rang for like 3 rings, so I blocked it , job done
Apparently this was virgin media but I said to take me of the system and he said not unless I upgrade my contract ?? Otherwise they will call every day … so I doubt it was virgin but it’s been very day so far
The caller spoke with such a heavy accent, I could hardly catch a word she said. So I ended the call.
called back and they seems to be called "Site solutions", definitely spam

Constant calling, especially early evening. I have ignored the calls and started declining them, but they still call...
This call was from scammers claiming to be from EE saying I may qualify for a 30% discount off my bill for the next...
Got a text- it's from Scrumbles cat food. Link leads to their website. All good.
Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
