Claims to be TelePro Marketing, which is as maybe. They say they're peddling will-writing services and pre-paid funeral plans.
Missed the call. When I saw that many people had made enquiries, I didn't return the call.
Silent call. No one there when we answered
As all the comments above, some medical personal alarm centre. Even though I am ex directory and registered with TPS system, he didn't know my name and wanted to know if I was over 50?? Hung up!!!
They called me, I did not answer. They did not leave a message. Have reported this as spam
Claim to be a medical alert. Called most of our neighbours today saying same thing.. My advise is to invest in a call blocker phone. The number showed on our phone today, but as its a blocker phone, they could not get through...
Claimed we "qualified for a free medical device" - clearly a scam. Blocked the number
said I was shown as valid for a medic alert pendant free of charge and was I over 50. I asked him what my name was as this seemed suspect to me. He asked for my name - he did not know, so could not have got any info from a database. He hung up.
Same experience as others. Said he was from medical centre, says I could qualify for pendant. Asked age, and what I had 'in place', if I had a fall!! Soon as I said I thought it was an intrusive question he hung up.
Caller said I could qualify for a free medical alert pendant. I said what the hell do I want with a medical pendant? He then proceeded to tell me what it was. I said I already knew because my 90 year old mother has one. he then said OK, fair enough and hung up.
Claimed to be a medical centre wanting offering free personal alarm alert device. Asked if was under 50! LOL. Mentioned TPS service etc and they were not interested., just said ok asked them to remove my number just said nothing.
Selling medical alert service - seemed to be auto caller as didn't respond to question.
Said it was security regarding my card and quoting 2 supposed fraudulent transactions then requested to press buttons Needless to say I hung up !!!
Said I was eligible for medical alert pendant and asked if I was over 50. I just said I wasn't interested and hung up.
Allegedly about a medical disc as I was eligible for one! Told him I was not interested and hung up
He said I was eligible for a free medical alert pendant and wanted to know my age. Told him I wasn't interested and he hung up. Reckon there'd have been a catch somewhere had I continued. Number now blocked.
Appalling as was getting infirmation from an elderly lady and not knowing her name or age. Hang up or get them to call a family member they'll soon hang up.
medical alert scam, the caller could not tell me who he wanted to speak to or even the number he had called, just kept repeating his script....
Said was from a medical alert company and as my MIL is elderly and has a personal alarm I thought it was them calling to say that somethign had happened. I soon hung up when I realised it was a sales call trying to get me to have one....
