They called to arrange for me to pay off my outstanding debts and it was a matter of urgency. A foreign sounding chap. I said I had no debts. He then proceeded to say that the file would be updated. Hmmmm, if only all debt agencies were that easy to convince….. 100% trying to scam something.
Scammers. If you block them, they will try calling from a withheld number, repeatedly. Don’t answer.
Call centre noise behind the foreign voice, said he was from the debt agency, told him he had wrong number and hung up. Only called once and hopefully this is not the start of a stream of calls but will block and hope for the best, they will have dozens of numbers to call from
Same with me. It is a scam.
They say they are citizens advice and debt collectors have contacted them about me. Definitely a scam.
