Claimed to be from EE. Said I was due a reduction in my phone bill and I had won a competition and my monthly bill will be reduced by 40%. Asked me if I use an iPhone or Samsung. When I asked for them to verify their identity they said they would send me a text to confirm they are from EE.
Most likely scam , like the other reports say

I didn't answer, it came up directly on my phone, scam, fraud
Didn’t answer but other sites say it’s scam.
Knew my first name, although could be from an Asian call centre as they called me Mr first name not Mr surname, stated this is a PCP claim verification call. At this point I hung up and blocked the number. Second call in 4 days
