0113 734 0076 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Scam trying to obtain our meter number, saying the person who did the meter reading was mixed up. Knew our company name and postcode but so what ?

Claims to be Engie Power - issues with invoices generated, someone else's bill has been invoiced to the account.

Claimed to be from Smartest Energy and wanted to check our smart meter

Has phoned about 20 times in a week. Says she needs a meeting for British Gas. Very rude.

Claims to be British Gas

Rang to say that they were our current energy supplier, but working with the 'Big 6@ Energy companies updating all the billing information. She asked if we had received our the last months bill, I said no as we are billed quarterly, when I asked what dept she was calling from it was billing, she then proceeded to say that she needed to check that I was receiving the bill with all the correct meter number details. I said if you work in billing that you should already have the information, as if we weren't paying our bills they would soon be in touch. She then hung up!!

Foreign lady claimed to be from British Gas. First asking about renewing account, told her renewed for 3 years then said it was about putting in a smart meter, told her we cannot have the electricity off as a busy office, then said it was for a meter reading and wanted the meter number and reading. Told her we did it all on line and then she said there was a problem with the meter and to arrange for an engineer to visit, I then hung up.

No one spoke, so ended call and blocked the number.

Have called our office for the last 3 days in a row - slightly crackly line - Claiming to be called Kevin - Saying that they are our energy provider & there is an unpaid bill from 3 months ago - I said we are in serviced offices & don't deal with providers direct but he still wouldn't have it & became quite aggressive. I asked for his number (even though it came up on my screen), he said it's a blue light line so you can't call it back.

Jenny called saying she was from our current supplier, I queried her number 0113 734 0076 as it wasnt our suppliers number and she said she was from the meter reading dept and the number is different, she then wanted to know end date so I lied and she was that was perfect! I then said I knew she wasnt from our current supplier, she said everything is in order and hung up!

Claiming to be from my current supplier and then asking for my details. ended the call.

Pretending to be British Gas and that meter numbers have been mixed up. Scam to get you to give over meter details.

A lady impersonating E.On. I terminated the call, she called back so I blocked the number.
