0844 648 0240

This is one of several similar numbers I get starting 0844 648 etc. I keep blocking the number on my mobile and a week later get another from a slightly different number, so I cancel it, then get another similar number a week later ..................................etc. Total pain.

Received a call. Last a few seconds then terminated. Checked and found was likely to be a company that regularly has rang to advise that I have been involved in a accident.

My mobile phone rang once this morning then hung up, I checked the number which was 0844 648 0240. More spammers! Can someone find the names and addresses of the directors of the company that is making these calls. For anyone interested, use Companies House website to do a search once for the directors names and addresses once we have the company name, is also available as an iPhone app.

Keep getting call from this number but dropping the call after about 2 rings... Then always get a blank answerphone message-.-

Watch out for this phone scam. What happens is that you will get a call from 0844 648 0240, it will ring once may be twice then stop. They are expecting you to call back to find out what it was about .. it’s a premium number call scam .. one chap got charged £250 for 30 secs after calling it!!!

Rang twice today on mobile 0844 6480240. No message left. Nuisance caller.

Sick and tired of these idiots phoning me, if I had been in an accident, they would be last people I would speak to.

Ring off quickly so you will call them back and they also don't have to pay for a call. Diverted straight to voicemail so they will have to pay for the call now.

Had a call off this number early Sunday morning. Woke me up and I was worried what was so important that someone has to ring me at such a stupid time. Glad I didn't call back though.

Phoned for 2 rings then cut off. ON A SUNDAY MORNING!!!!

This number rang at 08:50 this morning, so glad I checked on here first. Have blocked the number. Wh.at is point of registering with TPS if this still happens.

Had missed call from this number yesterday but googled before responding. Glad I did as appears to be another 'junk' call. Unsolicited calls should be banned.
