Calls from this number say you have been involved in a road traffic accident. I suggest you download Truecaller app and then you can put annoying calls in the blocked list. Truecaller really works and asks you if you want to add numbers to block list that are not in your phone book.
Brand new pay as you go EE sim card. Haven't even bothered with putting credit on it as it was just to test a phone. This number just rang 08437240610 so either as mentioned above its random generated thing or government tat. Either way didn't answer it. Bloody annoying though.
This number has now become a nuisance call. It rings my phone, my wife's phone and our home phone which means we get around half a dozen calls a day. We ignore them but I'd like to know how can I stop/ report this caller.
Had at least 8 missed calls over the weeks from this number. On one occasion I was in to take the call and it had an automated message about an "accident I had recently had" - not had an accident since my last child ;) Flaming nuisance as this phone is only used for emergencies and the number hasn't been given out to anyone outside family.
Its a call centre spamming people.. Thats how they make money on the various stuff they ask about and offer!
I've been having calls for more than a week from this number at exactly the same time of day. So I answered one and requested a call back. "Nick from Total Claims UK here and I can get you the compensation I deserved for the accident I recently had." "I haven't had an accident" "Well why the f*ck did you ask for a call back you tw*t" He hangs up. So request the call back, waste there time, but be prepared for verbal abuse :)
glad it's not just me. had several calls from this number. I never answer, nr am i about to.
I rang this number back accidentally and it's an automated voice, selling stuff. Don't answer and block straight away
This variant claims to be from the Pension Review Team, who are trying to get people to take money out of their existing pensions and put it with them for processing. Sounds like another one of these vulture companies who think they can get their hands on other people's hard earned money.
Have had lots of calls from this number - never leave a voicemail If u r using iPhone then find the number in recent calls after that press the i sign on the right and then scroll down to very bottom and block the number :) - caller: 0843 724 0610
This number is calling me several times a week
I get calls from this number (08437240610) on my mobile pretty much every day. very annoying considering I have not given this number to anyone other than friends and family. I have never quoted during any purchasing or form filling, so I would be inyterested to know where they got the number from.
Just had David Cameron call me to ask if I will vote Conservative at the forthcoming General Election,and replied "On your bike,you upper class Tory twat" Perhaps my good friend Mick Jagger will have 2 choice words to say to Cameron. Unbelievable !!!
