Same. Call everyday to my daughter's mobile phone. We do not answer. Just wish it would stop.

Pensions review automated message. Has phoned every day for 2 weeks at the same time. Has been added to my block list but get a text, don't waste time on these idiots. Looks like these type of phone calls are getting worse.

I just called this number back 0843 724 0610 and it is a voice recored message saying they are the pension review team. If you listen to the whole message about 20 secs it gives you 2 options, press 5 to speak to a advisor or 9 to opt out of there marketing database.

Been getting calls from this number regularly. As others I never answer unknown calls. They never leave a message but it's such a nuisance as it rings at work as well. I've started putting my phone on silent but then I miss all calls

Like others posting here I keep getting calls from this number at different times of the day. Usually I miss it but I think I have picked it up in the past and there was no-one on the other end.

I've been getting calls off this number too but I've set my phone up to only ring when it's someone in my contacts list. It leaves me a voicemail but it's partway through it's spiel so I don't know why they're calling?! If you install an antivirus app on your phone (I'm not sure it matters which..?) you can usually block known numbers so they won't bother you again, hope this helps people! xx

Automated call service from a call centre. Computer calls 100s of numbers at once. Those that answer first get put through to a call handler (the delay in answering the call and speaking to someone is the call being transferred in the system). They try to sell you whatever that call handler's told to sell that day. Those that miss the available call handlers get the silence that so many complain about. No use asking how to stop the calls. Most times the number called is randomly generated by computer. So those that get an unobtainable number don't get called again. Those that ring (whether answered or not) are put on a "live" list. The calling number therefore will change (in the hope that you might accidentally answer) and after a couple of tries will revert to another number. This gets them over the blocked call issue. For the cal centre it's a probaility game: if they call 10,000 at once, if 20% are real numbers, if 10% of callers answer, they have 100 call handlers and 10% of people say "Yes" to something, that's still 10 people they earn commission from! It's a modern scourge but, unfortunately, it's here to stay.

its a number that calls you and its a government auto call and its a mixed call from pension to banks ,its random.even if you block the number it changes the last 4 numbers so you dont know who is calling and you answer it.you could block it but then your blocker will be full up.best to just let it ring.even if you change the phone you will still get the calls.your number is on the data base when you buy any new phone(its the law)

08437240610 this number keeps ringing me. I don't have an iphone. I can't understand how they got my number and why they keep on ringing. It's not exactly every day but around 16:00 the number will call. Can someone higher up take the number away from them? Can this be stopped?
