Just received a call from this number. When I called back on my landline it was a cold call regarding my delayed flight - funny when I don't fly. I can apparently claim back compensation on my delayed flight i had in the past. Cold Caller -- 08437240461

Usually get this daily. Get through to some dude, give the phone to my 2 year old kid and let the two have an intellectual conversation... :-)

Nuisance call from this number at 2000hrs. and then again next day also. Very similar to another number (08437240459) that kept cold calling evening time also about a week ago. These numbers need to be reported to the Police to be taken offline. About time we sent Agent Smith after them.....

I agree with all comments regarding this number (08437240461) They are bloody pests - They call several times a day on my mobile. If I pick up I get charged for the call. I will shortly send them an invoice for the cost of the calls and for wasteing my time. When they don't pay I will take them to the small claims court. Recorded message about PPI, press 5 to talk to a rep, press 9 to opt out. Seeing as pressing 9 simply confirms you're a valid number in the database anyway I pressed 5. Cheerful chap answered, ask me about PPI, have I not claimed because I didn't think I was entitled or because I hadn't got round to it? I said I hadn't claimed because, to the best of my memory I've never had a product that included PPI. CLICK. Phone went dead. I thought "you w*nker" so I called the number back. Got a recorded message saying if I've been on a flight in the last 8 years that was delayed I could get up to £500 in compensation (hmm, that's likely). The usual press 5 or 9, so I pressed 5 and got told no-one could talk and leave a message with my number, screw that. Anyway, these people are scum, block their calls or, even better (if you've got time on your hands), next time they call give them a shedload of false info, keep them talking, string them along for as long as possible, let them think they'll get a fat commission from the refund on the 70k loan you took out when you were self-employed (thus eligible for a refund) and, at the last minute, laugh and call them a gullible c*nt (tho obv not if it's a woman, just string them along then laugh, but there's precious few women doing the job, they've got more sense). Come the revolution these f*ckers will be the first against the wall ;-)

When is this **** going to stop? When is the government or ofcom going to get the balls to put these muppets out of business? It's been going on for years now and all we hear is "the government is going to crackdown on PPI..." blah blah blah but nothing happens!!! How ******* hard is it? Track them down and imprison the ***** who set these outfits up. They'll soon stop.

Block this number, they say they're the refund department for PPI but when you ask which company they close the call.

My turn today it seems. It's meant to be an ex directory number - someone somewhere is accessing information they shouldn't be. Just blocked it on my iphone :)
