Constant Calls regarding PPI money due. Pressed the opt out number which is 9 and calls increased. Up to six/day. Called and they put phone down on me.

My 14 year daughter has yet another call from this number. So emailed them stating that if they don't remove her number before their database before they next sell-on their numbers list, I will be taking legal action against. Hampshire Police and Ofcom copied in on the email.

They are a company of scammers who make money in various ways out of people who answer their calls. Do not answer their calls. Add 08437240459 to your phones blocked list.

As soon as I told them I am not involved in an accident , they turn the phone down.

I blocked this number after the 4th call of the day. Less than an hour later, yep you guessed it guess who was offering me a cash reward for the accident I never had!!!! They called from an anonymous number I was and am fuming.

Got yet another call from 08437240459. Didn't answer and will now block them, but expect calls from another number - I have a long list of blocked numbers from similar cold calls on my phone now. There really should be some working regulation to stop this. I'm in the middle of organising a funeral and could do without this rubbish!

They call nearly every day but as the number is unfamiliar I ignore it.

Been getting (and ignoring) calls from this number for over a year now on both landline and more recently mobile. It has taken some self-discipline to not answer, but have tried the 'remove number' option as well as time-wasting of caller, without success, so now I just ignore and routinely delete the messages clogging up the ansaphone. A new number is beginning to appear: 0638. Typical content is: PPI, recent motor accident, writing off debts. If caller Andy (17 November) is right the generator of them is SBS Marketing in Bishop Auckland. However if they are, it's difficult to understand how caller Phil (19 November) was able to report the police tracking them down to a house in London. I fear these may both be a front for some other automated calling technology and that the only way to avoid the calls is to change my numbers, make them ex-Directory and refuse to register them with any traders. I bet blocking doesn't work, so haven't bothered with that yet. To try to clarify things, I will copy this message to SBS and see if I get a reply. Will try to update if there is any news.

Had a few calls on my mobile from this number which I have ignored. However I have called them back on my office phone with-holding the number. They say it is an important message about my PACKAGE BANK ACCOUNT! I pressed 9 to opt out and they said the number I was calling from (which was withheld) would be placed on the DNC list! I will be interested to see if I get any calls on my work phone now.

I get lots of calls about 'my recent accident' so I say 'oh, you know about that, but I don't know who hit my car from behind as when I woke up there were strange looking men looking down on me and speaking in an unfamiliar language and I think they implanted something in my back just below my neck and they were keeping a record of everything I do now and who I talk to and also somehow they have cameras at the back if my eyes and they are keeping records of all that I see and when I woke up again I was back in my car at the side of the road. It was two hours later but felt like so much longer. The green people were actually very friendly and made me feel that they were going to be helping the earth in the near future but were just collating evidence of what was happening now' depending upon how long they stay on the phone i can add a bit more!

Declined! My answer message states Friends and family please leave a message, call centres DOn't Bother! Really annoying it's so bad I rarely now even answer my landline but they've slowly now gained my mobile no. Should be a law against it or an app to prcvent these nuisance calls.

I have a works number that has only been live for 8 months. Every day we are receiving calls from this number about claims. Sometimes we received unto 5 calls per day. Where are they getting my number from?

Six calls from this number already this month. I never answer if I'm not expecting a call from an un recognised number, if its important i would expect someone to leave a message. After reading these I'm pleased I didn't answer, but its annoying that because of these waste of time calls I don't feel confident answering to a number i don't know. I wish there was something to be done to stop these idiots from wasting people's time.

This number keeps calling me every week (08437240459) advising my bank have made a mistake and have been charging me to much for my account and I could be owed money. I don't pay for my bank. These calls are annoying, I have blocked it but some how they managed to still ring me

Just got a call from this number which I ignored 17:20 on 14/01/2015. If your on BT I recommend their call guardian phones which is a free service and at least stops these calls on your home phones. The caller has to identify themselves and you have several options before you answer.

It's a BADLY recorded message about my package bank account. I have never been stupid enough to pay to bank my money so that's not true. This calls me endlessly and I am sick of it.

Same as all the above comments. Just 1 note, when they ask to press 9 to opt out, DON'T! You still get charged connection. It's better just to hang up or not answer at all.

Rang to tell me I've been involved in a car crash and my old Insurence company have set aside money for me to claim and if I don't claim it, the Insurence company will pocket it. New quite a lot of my details address, car reg etc. ring me ever day! Someone make it stop!!!!!!!!

The company is SBS Marketing, 3 Cockton Hill Road Bishop Auckland County Durham DL14 6EN. The Director's name is Steven Colwell. Email is [email protected]. They have a telephone number 0800 933 0127, but they don't answer and a recorded message refers you to the email address already given. After a written complaint, with threats of legal action, they promised to put my contact numbers on the DNC (presumably Do Not Call) list, but guess what, they have not done so. Mr Neil's comments of 12th December seem quite valid, although I would have thought that £20 per hour is rather low. I have written to them again just now, and will indeed commence proceedings against them. There used to be a minimum limit in the Small Claims Court, but I need to re-acquaint myself with those details. Will find out and post accordingly.
