cold call about an accident i had years ago

Trying to sell ppi claim back gave me attitude on phone and refused to give company name it was a female caller with a manly northern accent

After a tell-tale pause an Indian sub-continental sounding gentleman said he was from UK Business Solutions conducting a 'government imposed survey' on something. Yeah whatever, we don't do surveys. Thank you.

Indian lady stated that they calling from 'UK Business Solutions' for the UK government. Unfortunately the line was not clear, how lovely Skype is! They asked for the manager who when I clarified their point they sounded as though they needed to reach for their notes. Didn't know who the company was they were calling for. Interrogated, the caller seemed calm, but worked to a script. Phishing scam.

Gentleman with an Asian accent called, Colin. Highways Department about an accident I had recently had. Needless to say I had not had an accident, I am afraid that I lost it and swore down the phone! I have had 8 different calls today. All chancers and spammers. Why does TPS not stop them? I know, because they ignore it!!! Screaming

Just received a call from this number asking me to make a claim about an accident I had in the last 3 year. Me: which one caller: most recent Me: can you tell me more? Caller: no due to Data protection Act ME: Well for my Data protection I'm telling you Naff all. Caller: but then you can't make a claim ME: I've never had an accident and you should not be bloody calling me Caller: If you are going to be rude I'll report you ( and then hangs up) They just try the luck in the hope they catch you out.

Called out the RAC a year ago to pull me out of a ditch and have been harrassed almost weekly since then regarding an accident claim. Last call I denied all knowledge and told them I didn't know what they were talking about and the calls seemed to stop. However, today I've had a call from this company, which I blocked on my iphone. I informed the RAC that they had no right passing the details of my call out to this mob and they denied it. Suffice to say I will NEVER use the RAC again - beware if you call them out to an accident you could experience this harrassment too.

Got a call from 0843 0500626 saying they were from the National Highways Agency!!?? Asked if I had been involved in a car accident 2 and a half years ago.. No idea where they got my name and number from them - they called me on my house line and this is not listed

This company have been calling my phone for the last twelve months about an accident I did not have in 2013. At first I politely explained I did not have an accident, then told them to sue the company that gave them my number but they keep on ringing so today when I got angry I was told "I'm only doing my job". They hang up on you whilst you are still speaking and are generally very rude.

I get continuous calls from this number about a car incident. Have blocked the number on my phone but still gets through!! I never answer but they still keep calling.

Constantly harassed by this number every day, and even Upto 9pm at night. I am registered with TPS but it doesn't seem to make any Difference. My accident was in 2012 & all settled within months so why/how do they think they can ring re compensation!!!

I had an accident back in 2011, details of which were sold by employees of a certain large insurance company in Norwich to these so called claim companies. Those employees have been dismissed and the company issued an 'apology', great but it doesn't stop them calling my personal mobile number 3 - 4 times a day, sending text messages constantly and being downright annoying. Surely these people can be prosecuted for using stolen information or mis use of data under the DPA

They call continuously about an accident I had a few months ago. I keep saying I do not want to make a claim and ask them not to call me again but they do not stop! Most recently I was threatened by 'Joshua' and told that not only would he not remove me from their database but that unless I made a claim he (and others) would continue to call me on a regular basis for the next three years. I asked to speak to his manager to complain but he refused and said that he was too busy.
