I received a call from this freephone number but did not trust it. If it is genuine, the company should be easy to contact through an official website.

Call to my mobile number. When I answered nobody responded - I just hung up

If Sky call you on your mobile phone it will say on your screen "Sky"

***** It’s a SCAM**** Just had a call from this number .. said he was from Sky and wanted to discuss my package .. when i challenged him he hung up .. this is a scam

Told him im not going to take a call from someone whos SKY, hanged up... the worrying aspect is how he then called me on my mobile to tell me hes going to stab me up

Sky asking why I left. Once I have an answer I was taken off the call list.

Unwanted call

Didn't answer and then checked here. In common with a good few people who posted, I have cancelled a module off Sky and there's no chance I'll change my mind. Blocked and deleted!

Man claimed to be from Sky and to see if he could save me some money on my contract which I thought was a bit weird cos I’ve only just renewed. To confirm authenticity he said I have the sky signature package and sky super fast broadband. But that’s probably standard for most customers! He got the hump when I said I don’t want to talk to him as I don’t trust him n he said oh so you don’t want to see if I can save you money on your bills and then hung up. Contacted Sky and they confirmed it was not them.

Called claiming to be sky sales team. Asked for my name, address and security answer which I said I was uncomfortable giving to a random caller. He asked why, I said its not a verified number. He said "thats up to you. Bye" and out the phone down. Seems like a scam. This number called claiming to be sky and asked if I was getting the best value of my package. The caller then tried to prompt me to find out the security details of my account. This is where I hung up the phone.

Said he was from sky but he asked for my full address etc so I said he should have that already and I said his line was breaking up (which it was) then he started shouting at me so I hung up on him.

Legit call from sky - I checked with sky

as many people have said the man behind this scam is a convicted fraudster called: stuart wright, 133 Anglian Way, Coventry, CV3 1QR. I confronted him at his home and was met with abuse. hopefully someone teaches this scumbag a lesson!

claimed to be from Sky and was offering me a new package, i've only just updated mine, so was wary, asked for my Name and Address to confirm who i was, said they should know that as they had rung me, got very flustered, put the phone down.

Claimed to be from Sky loyalty team. Asked me to confirm by full name. I told them they should know, then they put the phone down. Sky Customer Service agent wouldn't do that.

It is from Sky, normally after you have reduced your package with them. Trying to temp you to get more and before you know it they have talked you into it. I answer and never speak and after 10 seconds they put phone down as it’s one of those phone systems that just phones you and they have no idea who you are!!!!

Fake Sky Sports person try to scam me asking my personal details and infos. No thank you Mr Scammer. :(

I've just had the same phone call stating they were from Sky. They asked me if I'd made any changes to my package, I replied "You should know". Scam. Told them and hung up.

She said she was from Sky and needed full name address and postcode and mother’s maiden name or password. she was offering to check the package and see if it could be improved. Declined. Is this a scam?

Knew this was a scam, he claimed to be from. Sky offering me new packages but when I said if he was from Sky he would know what package I have he said no he can't access my account due to GDPR. Load of rubbish.
