Pretending to be sky

called today 11/4/23 saying from sky trying for me to get sky glass tv. he wasn't very good on the phone as if he didn't know what to say next scam

The way to check if it's Sky is to ask the caller how long you've been a Sky customer. Legit Sky callers will have that info to hand. You as a Sky customer have that info on the My Sky app.

Asked for someone who I didn't know ..

Allegedly from Sky trying to sell Samsung laptop, ipad with a staggering 100mb. When I informed them that same deal can be gotten direct from Samsung at a cheaper rate and lower contract term they got quite aggressive. I do enjoy my little chats with cold callers trying to sell me some nonsense I haven't seen, read or pondered over or wishing it was mine. Steer clear of them.

Claim to be from Sky but it's not, it's a scammer.

This number is not sky! Sky publish their telemarketing and sales numbers on their website and this is not one of them! Nor did this guy go through any security checks which sky always do! Be careful!
