Received a letter from Barclaycard today about a refund but I have never held a Barclaycard credit card. Scam?

Barclaycard refund. But I have never had a barclaycard. And why wouldn’t it be put straight back on to your card. They don’t need bank info for a barclaycard.

I received a letter too end of February regarding refund on barclaycard. Checked it out with Barclays whi confirmed it was legit. Filled in online form just giving bank details and received refund in less than a week.

Defo Barclays. Done all the checks and filled in form for reclaim. Only details I had to give was sort code and account number.

Rang barclaycard fraud line to find out if letter about interest refund was legitimate, was told it was and gave me alternative phone number to what was on letter to ring retention department to confirm it, rang them and told me the letter was from them,

I went into my local Barclays and they told me the letter and the number are genuine. I still was suspect so called the number and asked them to send me a cheque instead. They said this could take 60 days for me to receive the form to sign. Did I still want to do this. I said yes so will wait and see what happens with that that. But like I say, Barclays Bank staff said it was genuine
